Banana slugs are vital components of the Pacific Northwest ecosystem, from Alaska to Central California. As forest 'clean-up crews,' they recycle nutrients, consume detritus, and generate fertilizer from decomposing matter. Preferring cool, moist, shaded habitats, they can often be spotted traversing forest trails, so keep your eyes peeled!
Each Slug is equipped with two super-strong neodymium magnets, allowing users to wear them on lapels or hat brims. However, due to the risk of ingestion, these are not intended for use by babies or young kids.
