I'm JOY, and I'm passionate about creating unique, handmade original artworks using colorful polymer and my own millefiori canes. The millefiori method allows me to develop patterns within the clay itself, without the addition of paint. I then use those patterns to hand create each of my originals. This timeless technique, with roots in ancient Egypt and Rome, yields sublime results through a precise and patient process, making each piece a one of a kind treasure. I hand build, upcycle, and use found objects in my work, and range from sculpture, to jewelry, to housewares, and beyond.
